Raymond Calimbas is my second son just like me being the second son of my father. Omar and Raymond are eight years apart. That is by designed. We figured being several years apart bringing them up will not be too difficult so we have more time for each of them. Raymond was born in Houston, Texas while Omar was born in Chicago, Illinois. Ray went to University of Texas like Omar. Either he likes college so much or he hates it because it took him about six years to realize he does not like to finish college there. Ray told us he like to study music. And he found a music school in north of San Francisco to attend to. So he did. It was a two year curriculum. Ray finished that course. He then gravitated into installing computer network system. Working as an independent contractor, he is assigned as a member of a group to put up the IT network structure for conventions. I suppose there is a connection from music to computer work which I do not know about. As of this writing Ray has been doing this kind of work for several years. He goes where the convention is. Usually it is in Las Vegas but Ray has travelled to cities like Chicago, San Diego, New Orleans, Florida and overseas like London. I supposed Ray likes this kind of work and enjoy it. That is the most important thing is liking what you do. He befriended his colleagues and come to the house to visit once in a while.
Ray have a girlfriend once. They broke up and they came together again. Then they broke up for good. I think Ray is headed at the same path as my other uncles who remained single all there life. One, tiyong Lope married when he was not so young.
Oh well I am counting on Gabe to carry the name Calimbas. He is the only one who can do that.
Ray has a condo and live by himself. Oh Loki the dog is his. But he leaves Loki with Nicki and I when he goes out of town. Everytime Ray visits up he managed to bring food. Nicki and I appreciate that but we don't eat that much anymore. Ray's personality is typical of a Calimbas. He is very very private and does not even invite us to his condo. Maybe someday he will.
